Internet / Accessibility

The Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law requires suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers to make their products and services accessible to people with disabilities. One of the law’s key areas of focus is the accessibility of websites, e-commerce platforms, and online municipal and government services.

Barnea Jaffa Lande is a leading firm in this field, with extensive experience advising companies on accessibility compliance and representing them in related litigation. Our experience includes representing numerous public companies in a class action concerning the inadequate accessibility of their reports on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange website, as well as advising several clients operating some of Israel’s largest trading websites on accessibility-related matters.

We assist clients from the early stages of developing their online services to ensure  compliance with the law. We also advise on employee training and internal compliance procedures, provide regulatory opinions, assess whether companies meet applicable legal requirements, and represent clients in court when necessary. Our work covers, among other things, websites, public address systems, switchboards, and call centers.
