Regulation / Consumer Protection

Consumer protection issues have been developing dramatically and rapidly over the last decade, and accordingly, so have the enforcement measures being instituted against commercial companies operating as service-providers, both by regulatory authorities and by consumer groups and organizations.

Our firm provides ongoing legal advisory services to local and international commercial companies in relation to legislative proceedings and policies being set in the field of consumer protection. Our counsel applies to such issues as the implementation and assimilation of all dynamic legislation and compliance with the various regulatory requirements.

We represent commercial companies sued in class actions for violating consumer laws, as well as in disputes relating to uniform contracts and in advertising fraud cases. We also represent clients in administrative procedures taken by various regulators, for instance the Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Authority.
