Employment / Employers labor law
The Employment Department advises employers across all interfaces and throughout employment relations, from recruiting employees through the ongoing labor relationship to employment termination.
Services encompass providing guidance on employee recruiting processes, including preparing for interviews; advising on compensation plans and wage policies, employment contracts, pension plans, and benefits; drafting confidentiality and non-compete agreements; and counseling on unionization, hearings, and employment termination processes.
We advise employers on implementing and integrating labor laws into ongoing employee-employer relationships, as well as counsel them on establishing sexual harassment prevention programs in the workplace. We advise other entities aside from employers, such as placement companies, vendors, subcontractors, and more. We also advise on compensating senior-level employees, the allotment of options, golden parachutes, and retirement agreements.
