Our firm’s Real Estate Department is representing Akro Group, which won a Pinui-Binui tender in Bat Yam as part of a large-scale urban renewal project that includes plans to construct approximately 380 new housing units in Jerusalem. The department is managing the transaction end-to-end, handling a variety of real estate, regulatory, and commercial issues, and providing ongoing support in the initiation and development of this complex project.

Alon leads the Residential and Urban Renewal Department at our firm.
Adv. Alon Abcasis specializes in leading and managing complex real estate transactions in the fields of residential development and urban renewal. His expertise spans the initial stages of submitting proposals for project execution, preparing agreements with various project consultants, negotiating legal matters with rights-holders, and handling financing issues and banking support. He has unique expertise in guiding and advising large-scale projects, including those that combine hundreds of thousands of housing units, as well as projects with mixed-use elements.
Alon is among a select group of senior attorneys in the Israeli market, which has led the urban renewal sector in Israel for over a decade. He has broad expertise in representing apartment owners and developers in the strengthening and augmentation, demolition and reconstruction of apartment buildings, as well as in evacuation and construction projects.
In addition, Alon has extensive experience in managing complex combination transactions involving multiple owners and mixed uses, with a special focus on real estate transactions in high-demand areas.
Alon’s experience includes advising public and private real estate companies, including contractor companies, in numerous residential and urban renewal projects. He has successfully provided legal support in combination and sale transactions, initially upon the locating of the land and verifying rights to the final stages of occupancy.
In addition to his experience, Alon advises private landowners, starting from the initial organization stage, through the selection of developers via tenders, and all the way through the project’s establishment stages until occupancy. Some of the projects he has worked on include unique mixed-use real estate projects combining residential and commercial spaces.
Alon represents developers and contractors in their ongoing business activities, including negotiations with contractors, and specializes in drafting luxury apartment sales agreements in the private market.
Furthermore, Alon provides comprehensive legal guidance in all types of real estate transactions, including combination deals, sales, purchases, and complex lease agreements in office real estate. His legal services encompass the entire process, from property search and engagement, through planning and construction, to the occupancy stage.

Representing Aura in a Major Urban Renewal Project: 800 New Housing Units in Nesher
Our firm is representing Aura in a major urban renewal (Pinui-Binui) project in northwestern Nesher, covering approx. 6.2 dunams. The plan includes demolishing 152 old units and building around 800 new apartments, along with commercial, office, and public spaces. Residents will benefit from expanded apartments, sun balconies, parking, storage, reinforced security rooms, and upgraded infrastructure. The project also offers a 10-year maintenance fund and potential profit-sharing for existing residents.

Representing Aura in a Major Urban Renewal Project in Ma'alot
Our firm is advising Aura on a large-scale urban renewal (Pinui-Binui) project in the historic Rasco neighborhood of Ma'alot. The project entails the demolition of 248 old housing units and the construction of approximately 1,100 new residential units across six modern towers, along with commercial areas, office space, and public facilities. Spanning approximately 53 dunams (13 acres), the project is one of the most significant urban regeneration initiatives in the Western Galilee region.
