Infrastructure / Transport

Our firm is recognized as a leading law firm in the transportation sector in Israel.

In September 2017, the Israeli government published a five-year development plan to modernize Israeli infrastructure. Barnea is a major player in almost all of the projects listed in the plan.

We advise on major transportation projects. These include the Jerusalem Light Railway, the Tel Aviv Light Railway (a multi-jurisdictional train line to run through five cities in the center of Israel), and the Israel Railways network. Barnea acts predominantly for international transportation companies and consortiums.

We provide our clients with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the various structures of project finance, Israeli tender laws, regulations, and Israeli banks. Our firm is also recognized for its skill in negotiating and drafting complex EPC, O&M, concession, consortium, partnership, and sub-contractor agreements.

International and Israeli ranking guides regularly rate Barnea as a leading infrastructure and project finance firm
