Providing Representation in ILS 50 Million Civil Lawsuit Against Michael Mirilashvili

Our firm, represented by attorneys Zohar Landa, Eran Wiener, and Lina Makhuli, is representing Shabtai Alon in a NIS 50 million civil lawsuit against Michael (Micho) Mirilashvili, father of Yitzhak Mirilashvili, licensed owner of Channel 14. Yesterday, Calcalist published parts of Zohar Landa’s cross-examination, which included questions regarding company registrations under third parties’ names, undocumented business activities, and political connections.

Supreme Court Ruling: RGE Group to Operate Knesset Channel

The Supreme Court issued a ruling today rejecting the petitions of News 2 and Channel 20 against the decision to announce RGE as the winner of the Knesset channel tender. This paves the way for the operation of the Knesset channel by RGE as early as August 1, 2018. Roni Lish, the minority shareholder in the franchise company of the French culinary brand Fauchon, is suing his partner in the franchise. Roni claims his partner acted to reduce the value of the company in order to control it and to remove him from the company. Class Action against Espresso Club Rejected by the Court

The Central District Court has rejected the application for a class action filed in 2015 against Espresso Club for misleading customers about the method of charging an acquired package of coffee capsules. In addition, the court ordered the plaintiff to pay all legal expenses. Espresso Club was represented by Advs. Zohar Lande and Itay Hatam of our firm's Litigation Department.
