M&A Transactions in the 2026 Business Landscape
Our firm, together with the Manufacturers Association of Israel, BDO Israel, and Mizrahi Tefahot, hosted a professional seminar on strategies for managing mergers and acquisitions (MA) in today's evolving business environment. The seminar explored the legal, commercial, and financial aspects of MA transactions, including opportunity identification, transaction readiness, regulatory and competition law considerations, financing structures, and deal execution. The event brought together CEOs, business owners, CFOs, and directors.
During the seminar, Adv. Ilan Blumenfeld, Adv. Irit Brodsky, and Adv. Idan Miller of our firm delivered presentations on key legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Israel to Regulate Stablecoins: New Draft Bill on Stablecoin Licensing and Supervision
On June 29, 2026, the Ministry of Finance and the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Authority published a draft bill for public comment until July 20, 2026, which, for the first time in Israel, would establish a specific licensing and supervisory framework for stablecoin issuers.

Bizportal: Is Raising Developers' Profit Margins the Solution to Israel's Housing Market Challenges?
Adv. When Are Directors Personally Liable for Trademark Infringement by a Company?
An Israeli District Court imposed personal liability, jointly and severally, on the directors of a company for trademark infringement, without lifting the corporate veil. Whenever a tort is committed, including intellectual property infringement, any officer or director who personally committed the tort may be ordered to pay out of his or her own pocket, even without lifting the corporate veil.

IT Cartel Case: An Unusual Acquittal in Criminal Competition Proceedings
Calcalist covered the exceptional ruling issued by the Israeli District Court in the IT cartel case, one of the leading criminal proceedings in the field of competition law in recent years. Adv. Gal Rozent and Dr. Ran Karmi of our Antitrust and Competition Department represented Mr. Haim Shohat, who was fully acquitted, leading also to the acquittal of Matrix, the corporation whose actions were attributed to him. As the only acquittal in the case, this outcome marks a significant and exceptional achievement, particularly in light of the very low acquittal rates in criminal proceedings generally and cartel cases in particular.
