Ruth Gerby
Ruth is a partner in our firm who advises and assists local authorities (municipalities) on an ongoing basis, particularly in relation to urban renewal and planning and construction.
Adv. Ruth Gerby brings over 20 years of experience, with a flexible and creative approach to handling a wide range of complex legal matters.
Ruth has unique experience in advising local authorities and municipal administrations on urban renewal matters. She serves as legal advisor to urban renewal administrations throughout Israel, including in Or Yehuda, Rishon LeZion, Sderot, Yavne, and Azur, and was involved in establishing the urban renewal administrations in Sderot and in Rishon LeZion.
Ruth also specializes in representing planning and building committees, serving as legal advisor for all aspects of these committees’ activities.
Ruth advises complex urban renewal projects from the planning stage to the project realization stage, while working closely with planning institutions, such as the National Committee for the Planning and Construction of Preferred Housing Complexes and the Israeli Authority for Urban Renewal.

Participation in Urban Renewal Authority Panel – Rishon Lezion
Adv. Ruth Gerbi participated in a panel organized by the Urban Renewal Authority of Rishon Lezion. The panel, which took place yesterday, discussed issues such as recalcitrant tenants, warning notices, lawyers' professional ethics, and differential changes (or disparities) between property owners and other stakeholders in the project. Ruth presented the perspective of the tenants on each of the topics.
