New Real Estate Brokers Regulations in Israel Require Professionalism, Transparency, Fairness, and Accountability

On March 9, 2025, the Real Estate Brokers Regulations (Ethics and Professional Duties) of 2024 came into effect which, for the first time, impose rules of ethics and binding professional obligations on all real estate brokers in Israel and regulate key aspects of real estate brokers’ work.

New ethics regulations for real estate brokers in Israel recently came into effect, requiring them to operate with full transparency and uphold high standards of integrity toward their clients. Adv. Shahar Poller Atzil, a partner in our Litigation Department, was interviewed by Channel 10, Israel's business news channel, on the new reform, which is set to radically change the landscape of the real estate brokerage market in Israel.

Barnea Represents Owners of Luxury Tel Aviv Property

Israeli basketball player Yoni Nir has filed a lawsuit against three women who own a property in Tel Aviv’s upscale Nahalat Yitzhak neighborhood. The lawsuit alleges that the women refused to honor a binding agreement for the sale of the property for ILS 4.9 million, plus renovation costs. Adv. Daphna Klein and Adv. Shahar Poller Atzil represent the defendants in the case.
