Adv. Hadar explains that enforcement is especially challenging in the crypto space, where identifying the individuals behind suspicious activity is inherently difficult. With no requirement for verified user identities, a single individual can control dozens of wallets, each appearing as a separate user, significantly complicating detection and enforcement efforts.

Israel’s Privacy Authority Sets Strict AI Rules

In a recent op-ed in Israel Hayom, Dr. Avishay Klein from our firm comments on the draft guidelines issued by Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority to regulate the use of AI in organizations. The guidelines, set to take effect with Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law in August 2025, introduce strict requirements, including a ban on using personal data without prior consent and heavy penalties for violations. While establishing clear AI standards is a positive step, the one-sided emphasis on privacy—without addressing technological complexity and business needs—may create significant challenges. Organizations are urged to begin managing technological and regulatory risks in tandem.

Legal Assistance Between States Law: A Violation of Suspects' Rights?

Insider Trading: An Interview with Adv. Hadar Israeli

About six months after an indictment was filed, Shay Lipman's trial began before the Tel Aviv District Court. Lipman, a former senior real estate analyst, is accused of profiting approximately ILS 400,000 from trading securities after being exposed to sensitive information and using insider information. As an expert in white-collar crime, Adv.
