Barnea Represents Pilat Media Global Plc.
Pilat Media Plc, a UK-incorporated public company, held a unique position: it was the only UK company listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) and the only company fully listed on both AIM and TASE, meeting the regulatory requirements of both jurisdictions. The firm represented Pilat Media from its inception through a demerger from an Israeli public company and advised it on compliance with Israeli regulatory requirements over the years. In April 2014, Pilat Media was sold to Sintec Media, one of its major competitors, for cash consideration exceeding USD 100 million. Barnea Co. represented Pilat Media and its shareholders on the Israeli aspects of the transaction.

Barnea Represents Dune Medical Devices Ltd.
Following the successful launch of its MarginProbe System, which received premarket approval (PMA) from the FDA early last year, Dune Medical Devices Ltd. has completed the first stage of a two-stage USD 21 million equity financing. The initial closing raised USD 14 million, with a second tranche of USD 7 million expected to close by October 2014. Dune Medical Devices develops surgical devices and techniques that help surgeons optimize tissue excision in real time during oncology procedures. The company has offices in the United States and Israel.

Barnea represented Spirent Communications PLC, a leading communications technology company listed on the London Stock Exchange, and its Israeli subsidiary in the acquisition of Radvision and Avaya’s Technology Business Unit for approximately USD 25 million.

UK-based Global Invacom Group Ltd. entered into an agreement to acquire OnePath Networks Ltd., based in Bet Shemesh, Israel. Barnea represented Global Invacom in the transaction.
