We held a workshop for our clients on how to prevent and handle incidents of sexual harassment at work. As part of the workshop, Adv. Netta Bromberg, head of our firm’s Employment Department, analyzed various incidents in accordance with the provisions of Israel’s Prevention of Sexual Harassment Law, as well as discussed how to conduct a proper investigation of a complaint and perform crisis management.

Adv. Eyal Nachshon and Adv. Zohar Haim Levinger represented the Maadaney Gourmet butcher chain against a motion for certification of a class action filed against it. The claim alleged the chain violated provisions of the Economy Ministry's competitive procedure for 2018 regarding the import of fresh meat exempt from customs duty. After a long and in-depth mediation process, the parties reached a settlement agreement. Maadaney Gourmet agreed to donate food products to those in need, thus bringing the litigation process to an end.

Adv. Eyal Nachshon, a partner in our Litigation Department, has written an op-ed addressing the new amendment to Israel’s class action regulations, which may harm the rights of public companies (page 14).

Adv. Ariella Dreyfuss represented Mouro Capital in its role as lead investor in an USD 80 million Series C financing round in the Israeli insurtch startup Vesttoo. The investment was based on a company valuation of USD 1 billion. 

Adv. Netta Bromberg, the head of our firm's Employment Department, participated in the Dun's 100 forum for senior legal professionals in the field of employment law. The forum discussed such relevant issues as sexual harassment in the workplace and remote work. Netta addressed recent changes in the world of employment and their impact on labor laws.

Many companies and businesses work with influencers to advertise their products on social media. This type of cooperation has tax implications. Adv. Harel Perlmutter, the head of our firm's Tax Department, was interviewed for the podcast "Tzeva Hakesef" (with Yair Weinreb) about the issue.

The forum discussed burning topics on the judicial agenda and referred to the connections between Israeli law and the international arena. Zohar addressed this topic and explained that “we have been witnessing a trend in recent years whereby Tel Aviv has become a hub for international legal proceedings.”

Adv. Sagi Gross and Adv. Dor Levi-Tam represented Pronto Diagnostics and its owners in a transaction to sell control of the company to Novolog. Pronto operates in the field of molecular genetic diagnostics.

Harel explained the issue and discussed the tax implications of registering an apartment in your child's name.

Our firm represented Danel Group, a human resources and nursing company traded on the TASE, in raising more than ILS 130 million in a private IPO for Nokd Capital, The Phoenix, and Reading Capital.

Adv. Itay Gura and Adv. Inbar Katzir represented the startup Winn.AI in an initial USD 17 million funding round. Winn.AI offers a real-time AI assistant that helps sales teams win more deals with less hassle through its innovative real-time tracking, capturing, and CRM updating features.

Adv. Harel Perlmutter, the head of our Tax Department, lectured this week to TAU Ventures, Tel Aviv University's venture capital fund for investments in startups. Harel addressed the advantages and disadvantages of preferred stock companies, employee compensation options, and other tax issues relevant to startups.

Adv. Gal Rozent, a partner and head of our Antitrust and Competition Department, participated today in a forum hosted by the Israel Association of Public Companies. He gave a lecture entitled "Public Statements by Officers in Public Companies – Do's and Don'ts."

The import giant Diplomat has acquired control of the companies Naveh Pharma and Bigdam Ltd for ILS 96 million. Adv. Sagi Gross, Adv. Dor Levi-Tam, and Adv. Izabel Pashayev successfully represented the companies and their owners in the transaction.

Neve Pharma is engaged in the development, marketing, and sale of nutritional supplements, as well as medical accessories in the ENT field. Sixty-five percent of the company was recently sold to the public company Diplomat for ILS 81 million. Neve Pharma was represented by Adv. Sagi Gross, Adv. Dor Levi-Tam, and Adv. Izabel Pashayev in the transaction.
