Older Workers' Challenges in Reentering the Employment Market

We are on the cusp of a challenging period, with hundreds of thousands of jobseekers trying to reenter the employment market. For many of them, especially older workers (55 and up), this is a frustrating task.

Representation in "Pancake House" Family Business Dispute

A family business dispute between the family members of the founder of the "Pancake House" chain has recently made headlines.

 The dispute erupted when one of the founder's sons accused his nephew (the founder's grandson) of violating the chain's trademarks by launching a new Tel Aviv venture called "TLV Pancake House" as a continuation of his grandfather's legacy.

Our firm’s Eyal Nachshon and Naama Moshe are representing TLV Pancake House and the founder's grandson in the legal proceedings.

Representing Nofar Energy in Negotiations to Acquire Rights in Blue Sky Group

Firm partner Samuel Henri Samuel represented Nofar Energy in negotiations to acquire 67% of the capital of Blue Sky Group, a group of companies engaged in the development and construction of solar energy projects in the United States. The deal is valued at approximately USD 91 million.

Representation in a dispute with a cooperative association

In recent days, the story of an Arab citizen named Samar Graeb has made headlines. About a year ago, he bought a house in the "Hapoalim neighborhood" in Afula and applied to be accepted as a neighborhood resident. The neighborhood committee rejected his request, claiming that it was a neighborhood with a Jewish, Zionist, and secular character.

 

Firm partner Shai Avnieli is representing Mr. Graeb in proceedings before the neighborhood committee and has appealed its decision.

 

Next week, a meeting is expected to convene, during which members will vote on whether to accept or reject the neighborhood committee's decision.

Representing Azrieli in NIS 860 Million Agreement with SolarEdge

Our firm represented the Azrieli Group in an agreement with SolarEdge to build the solar energy company’s new campus, at an investment of approximately NIS 860 million. The future campus will be built by Azrieli on a 6.5 acre site in Glilot North, east of the coastal highway (Road 2), which was purchased from private owners. Five-Session Workshop with Unit 669 Alumni

Together with the Black Cat Family, an organization for the alumni of the IDF’s combat search and rescue extraction unit, we launched a five-session workshop to provide basic legal tools for entrepreneurs. As part of the sessions, we lectured on founders’ agreements. We also lectured on the employee hiring process, and on how to build the right tax structure.
