In recent years, several companies listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange have been the subject of takeover attempts. One prominent example was the 2022 control struggle over Norstar Holdings Inc. Israeli basketball player Yoni Nir has filed a lawsuit against three women who own a property in Tel Aviv’s upscale Nahalat Yitzhak neighborhood. The lawsuit alleges that the women refused to honor a binding agreement for the sale of the property for ILS 4.9 million, plus renovation costs. Adv. Daphna Klein and Adv. Shahar Poller Atzil represent the defendants in the case.

Adv. Itay Gura and Adv. Inbar Katzir represented BlueVine, a fintech company operating in the US that provides a banking platform for small and medium-sized businesses, in its first investment in an Israeli company. BlueVine led the USD 7.5 million investment in Bizi and will also grant Bizi a license for its platform to provide services in Israel.

Two recent high-profile cases have brought privacy issues to the forefront: the Israel Police's alleged use of NSO's Pegasus software to infiltrate civilians' phones, and a Supreme Court ruling permitting the police to search the phones of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's aides.
