Our firm hosted today ACC members for a seminar on money transfers. Dr. Zvi Gabbay reviewed the regulations and guidelines that exist today in Israel and around the world on the handling of money transfers. In addition, we conducted a panel discussion addressing the challenges and opportunities facing businesses who need to know how to solve problems that may arise. Participating in the panel were Anat Even-Chen, our regulation expert; Doron Cohen, CEO of Covercy; Idit Froim, General Counsel of Colu; Yitz Raab, Managing Partner of Tzur Management; Rami Sasson, Chief Compliance Officer of Discount Bank; and Ronen Siman-Tov, CTO of IBM Blockchain World Wire.

Our firm represented the IoT security company Cymplify in its acquisition by NASDAQ-listed cloud security company Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. for USD 5 million.

The Tel Aviv Economic Court allowed the actor Yehuda Levy to join Shaham, the largest actors' organization in Israel, and a group of fellow artists in their legal dispute with the management of Eshkolot. Advs. Zohar Lande, Hadar Israeli and Eyal Nachshon are representing Shaham and the artists.

Zvi Gabbay lectured today before compliance officers at the BDO Finance Academy. The lecture dealt with the internal enforcement of securities laws, the enforcement revolution by the Israel Securities Authority, and the need to formulate an effective internal enforcement program.

We are representing the license holders of the Ishai gas reservoir. This reservoir shares its gas with the Aphrodite field in Cyprus. Our firm is accompanying the license holders in their appeal to the Ministers of Energy, Foreign Affairs, Justice, and Finance to secure their rights further to the agreement signed by the Aphrodite license holders with the Cypriot government.

Elder Adato, the head of our Real Estate Department, moderated today the mayoral panel at the Israel Builders Association Conference. Participating in the panel were the mayor of Eilat, the mayor of Yehud-Monosson, the co-CEO of Shalom Et Nathan, and the chairman of the Israel Builders Association.

Schools and workplaces were closed earlier today following an announcement by IDF Central Command. As a result, many employees and business owners found themselves uncertain of their rights and what to do. Netta Bromberg, the head of our Employment Department, was interviewed on the subject. She explained under what conditions an employee can stay home and when an employer can require an employee to arrive anyway.

Our firm represented Azrieli Group in the sale of its holdings in Supergas to Elco Group for NIS 820 million. Azrieli was represented by Advs. Micky Barnea, Ilan Blumenfeld, Sagi Gross and Daniel Kleinman.

Our firm is representing private clients in a lawsuit against the liquidating company of the Bank of North America (disbanded in 1985), as well as against the administrator general and official receiver. The lawsuit concerns trust funds deposited in the bank by the deceased father of the family. The clients are represented by Advs. Zohar Lande and Shachar Rothschild of our Litigation Department.

Our firm continues to represent Amir Waldman, who was charged by the US Securities and Exchange Commission for insider trading in connection with Intel's acquisition of Mobileye. The proceedings are pending before a federal court in New York.

Micky Barnea was interviewed by the British magazine Legal Business about whether the political situation in Israel has affected its economy. Micky noted that investments, from both overseas companies into Israel and in the local market, remain extremely strong, and expressed future confidence in the Israeli economy.

The Supreme Court recently published a list of significant rulings handed down in the past year. The Supreme Court's dismissal of Nespresso's lawsuit against our client Espresso Club is included in this prestigious list.

Our firm represented the German fund Mercura in its investment in 3DSignals. This Israeli startup enables the monitoring of production floor performance. The investment follows the company's rapid growth in the German market.

Adv. Hadar Israeli, a partner in our Capital Markets Department, lectured on administrative enforcement in Israel during a seminar organized by EY on fraud and scam risk management. During the lecture, Hadar presented how an organization should handle a crisis when an investigation has already begun and also discussed the importance of having organized enforcement programs.
