Interview with Micky Barnea: Takeovers of Public Companies

Recent years have seen several takeover attempts of companies listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Already in early 2022 was there a control struggle over Norstar Holdings Inc. As an expert lawyer in the field of corporate takeovers, Micky Barnea was interviewed by TheMarker for an article on the subject.   In the interview, Micky explained that “control takeovers begin with a combination of two things: an analysis to identify the business potential and a legal analysis that clarifies which steps are required to acquire control.”

Representing Owners of Luxury Tel Aviv Property in Lawsuit Filed against Them

Israeli basketball player Yoni Nir has filed a lawsuit against three women who own a property in the upscale Nahalat Yitzhak neighborhood in Tel Aviv. The lawsuit alleges the women refused to abide by a "binding sale agreement" signed between them for the sale of the property in the amount of NIS 4.9 million together with renovation costs. Our firm’s Daphna Klein and Shahar Poller Atzil are representing the defendants in the case.

Representing BlueVine in Investment Round in Bizi

Itay Gura and Inbar Katzir represented BlueVine, a fintech company operating in the US that provides a banking platform for small and medium-sized businesses, in its first investment in an Israeli company. BlueVine led the USD 7.5 million investment in Bizi and will also grant Bizi a license for its platform to provide services in Israel.
