We represented Zaki Rakib in the context of the purchase of Brazilian company that holds a licence to render Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Services in the interior of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, with a total bandwidth of 70 MHz. The firm further represented Zaki Rakib when a company controlled by George Soros joined the venture and provided a convertible loan of US$ 20 million.

Barnea represented Amiad Filtration Systems Ltd., a public company traded on the AIM, in the acquisition of a majority stake in JSK Engineering Co., an India-based supplier and manufacturer of water filtration products, from its local owner. Amiad Water Systems Ltd is a world leading water filtrations company, traded on AIM, and was the first kibbutz owned company to ever list on a foreign (non-Israeli) stock exchange, a process that was introduced and led by Barnea Co in late 2005.
